MRS 8 and Wavs
The MRS is indeed great. But if I may, it's not the jack of all trades. Try to add a delay while using a chorus effect and add some plate reverb at the same time. You cannot. Therefor, you might need some external help. see http://devs.openttd.org/belugas/music/PNJFC-CutAndRage.ogg. I had trouble with my network , so the ninjam session was not at its best. But that is the sount that we talk about ;) In this jam, i used the DS1, with tone at 10:00h, distorsion at 14:00h, the DD7 at +- 500ms, full level, f.back at 12:00h. On zoom: J-Chorus(Clean), Real Plate modified(Send-Return): predelay:69,Decay:30,Fx Level:30, with FxSend at 20 (did not want to kill the sound hehehe) Ho... and my VOX wah too...
FAST formula is good for assembling already written patterns. But it's useless for writing those patterns. It's tedious to actually write the patterns, but there is great control available. So it's quite an intriguing process ;) You can eventually perform your drum line live, there is an option for it. I do not master it, i have to admit :(
I do not use any amps, apart the one from my stereo unit, on AUX. Mainly because i do only jams with ninjam. But if ever I do once more, i'd bring my stereo, I think. 100 watt is good enough. And ...i sold my MusicMan112RD 50 watts to buy a diving equipment (and i still regret it :( ). Another reason i do not want one, is the fact that the guit amps do change the sonority of the MRS. If you are recording, you'd better have "clean" sound. My opinion;)
Yes, you can download files, the same way as the upload. Just press Export instead of Import. As for the drums, mak sure you've bounced them on an audio track before. The drum/bass tracks are not audio, until you make them ones :) So, on the same suject, you can upload on the card some drum tracks, but they will be audio files, so using audio tracks.
