The MRS-8 manual has a useful start up guide, but it is a little flawed due to some odd translations. This article is a hand holding guide for the brand new user. But some users might find it a helpfull reminder.

MRS stands for Multitrack Recording Studio. The studio part means it is more than just an 8-Track recorder. It has a built in Drum machine and Bass sequencer, built in Microphone (that actually works quite well), send/return effects unit, insert effects unit, advanced editing tools and a dedicated stereo master track for final mixdown.

Using the removable SD card memory, you can also transfer audio files to your PC and convert them to .WAV files with some free software available from the Zoom website.
